Restricted Call for Proposals «Points of Growth» The programme «Points of Growth» aims to develop Russian non-profit organizations in the economic crisis by strengthening their organizational and financial effectiveness, and drawing attention to their activities via social advertising. It also aims to provide information and advice, as well as methodological and technological support to NGOs and participants of social and charitable activities on issues related to achievement of financial sustainability during the global recession and given the latest changes in the legal framework for philanthropy in Russia.
The goals of the project are:
- to identify and support the best Russian social service NGOs;
- to maintain and develop their potential during the economic crisis;
- to systematize the experience gained and describe the most successful models of sustainability and disseminate them across the NGO sector in Russia.
The main objectives are:
- to improve the effectiveness of NGOs;
- to promote and develop new forms of fundraising for NGOs;
- to develop and implement new sustainability mechanisms for NGOs;
Regions and cities involved:
Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, St. Petersburg, Arkhangelsk, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Vladikavkaz, Moscow Oblast.

- Saint-Petersburg Regional Charitable Public Organization for Support of Homeless People «Nochlezhka» (Night Shelter);
- Nizhniy Novgorod Regional Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of Sight-Impaired People «Kamerata» (Nizhny Novgorod);
- North-Ossetia Public Foundation for Support of Families and Children «Goryanka» (North Ossetia-Alania Vladikavkaz);
- Charitable Foundation «Volunteers for the Orphans» (Moscow);
- Nizhniy Novgorod Regional Public Organization for Support of Children and Youth «Veras»;
- Charitable Foundation for Support of Hospice «Vera» (Faith) (Moscow);
- Autonomous NPO Center of Equal Opportunities for Orphans «Vverkh» (Upwards) (Moscow);
