| CAF Russia The Russian office of the Foundation – CAF Russia – has been a successful charity in Russia since 1993. In close collaboration with leading Russian and international companies and foundations, it realises around 40 programmes every year. Since the beginning of its work, CAF Russia realised over 300 initiatives aimed at the resolution of a considerable range of social problems, from aiding organisations for the disabled to developing local foundations in 26 regions of the country. Over $44 million went to such ends. The total value of projects supported by CAF exceeds $120 million.
The charitable projects in which CAF Russia is directly involved include the «Charity Instead of Gifts» social initiative, the programme «Life-line» concerned with the treatment of seriously ill children, the «Museums of the Russian North» grant competition, the AVON programme «Fighting Breast Cancer», the social project competition «Pole Gold – CAF», the grant programme «New Day», the medical and social rehabilitation programme «Beslan» and many others.
